High security, forced entry resistant door solutions for asset protection in high security locations – design, manufacture and install by Pensher Skytech.
Pensher Skytech Forced Entry Products include:
It is essential that high security doors have the appropriate level of security for their application and risk of attempted forced entry. The selection of the appropriate physical protection for door and access solution is dependent upon,
-
The location of the door
-
The location of the property
-
The value of the property
-
The value or desirability of the goods or information within the business premises
-
The risks relating to the loss of, or interruption to the business
-
The use of additional security products and technology such as CCTV and intruder detection equipment
Where there is a high risk of forced entry, high security doors are required. Forced entry resistant testing is classified according to the strength of physical attack the system can withstand. For high security doors, LPS11 75 SR 5 certification is a minimum standard where there is a high risk of attempted forced entry. Products certified to these security standards have resisted a series of professional attack tests using a wide variety of powerful mains operated tools. All forced entry testing, regardless of the type of assembly or level of protection, consists of a concentrated assault test of edges and other critical locations. Pensher Skytech has successfully tested its Protectex door to achieve 60 minutes forced entry resistance. Our access systems are inherently secure due to the nature of their design with structural anchors to the perimeter frame and multi-point locking.
Our Protectex range offers extremely high levels of protection against forced entry with heavy steel construction and additional security features providing a resilient barrier against physical attack. The Protectex door has Department of State (DoS) Certification for Forced Entry. In order to obtain DoS Certification for Forced Entry, a product must undergo extensive forced entry testing.
Forced entry resistance is often considered in counter terrorist measures. Preventing access to a location where terrorists could have a detrimental impact on cyber security or national infrastructure is essential. Access control and forced entry resistance work collaboratively to prevent unauthorised access and ensure assets are secure. Pensher Skytech security doors are provided with optional, sophisticated access control.
