Steel Construction

Most schools are fitted with aluminium doors which are not strong enough to deal with the extreme use. Pensher Skytech have developed school doors manufactured from steel. Steel is naturally stronger than aluminium, and the joints are weldable, ensuring they will not come apart, regardless of the abuse they are subjected to.

Controlled Entry

To prevent the public from entering school premises without permission, controlled entry systems can be fitted which allow free access for staff, but prevent intruders from being allowed in without permission. Controlled access requires robust door systems with locking capable of realeasing the doors from a remote point. This is a speciallity of Pensher Skytech.

Glazing

Glazing is a matter of choice, however for unbreakability polycarbonate is the answer. Toughened and laminated glass are also options, however these will break under a sustained attack.

Hardware

Pensher Skytech only use the best hardware , because a security door is only as good as its weakest point. Hardware is chosen which needs little or no maintenance. We believe a door should be fitted and forgotten about.
